The death has occurred this morning of former Clare GAA & Football star Kieran Harvey. Mr. Harvey who was from Kilkee, Co. Clare, was a well known and much loved member of his local community and wider GAA circles. In his playing days he hurled for the Clare senior hurling team and also played football for his club Kilkee. Further tributes have been made to the late sports star in recent hours, with many hailing him as 'one of a kind.' A keen sportsman, Kieran Harvey was also known for his involvement in the local community where he trained numerous juvenile teams and was well known to all as a true gentleman both on and off the field of play.
