Alexis Sanchez Returns to Udinese After 13 Years
Former Chile Forward Considers Offer from Former Club
After being released by Inter Milan, Alexis Sanchez is weighing an offer from Udinese, the club he left for Barcelona 13 years ago.
Sanchez, 35, is a free agent after his contract with Inter Milan expired at the end of the 2022-23 season. The Chilean forward has been linked with a move to several clubs, including Marseille and Galatasaray, but Udinese is reportedly the frontrunner to sign him.
Sanchez spent two seasons at Udinese from 2008 to 2011, scoring 20 goals in 88 appearances. He left the club to join Barcelona, where he won the Copa del Rey and the La Liga title. Sanchez has also played for Arsenal, Manchester United, and Inter Milan.
The return of Sanchez to Udinese would be a major coup for the Serie A club. The Chilean is a proven goalscorer and would add experience and quality to Udinese's attack.
