Apple has announced that its Apple Maps on the Web feature now supports Firefox and Microsoft Edge, expanding the range of browsers compatible with the web-based mapping service.

Previously, Apple Maps on the Web was only available for use in Safari and Chrome browsers on Mac and iPad. The addition of Firefox and Edge support now makes the service accessible to a wider range of users.

Apple Maps on the Web provides users with the same features and functionality as the mobile and desktop versions of Apple Maps, including turn-by-turn directions, real-time traffic updates, and 3D Flyover views. The service is currently available in English only.
