Same old Juventus
After an underwhelming performance against PSG and a draw against Salernitana this past weekend, Juventus were looking to make a statement in the Champions League. And they certainly did, putting in an outstanding performance to defeat PSV.
Juventus were in control from the very first whistle, dominating possession and creating numerous chances. Kean opened the scoring with a well-taken finish from inside the area, and McKennie doubled their lead with a header from a corner kick.
PSV pulled one back through Gakpo, but Juventus held on to claim all three points. The win was a much-needed boost for Juventus, who have struggled for form in recent weeks.
Looking forward
Juventus will now turn their attention to the Serie A, where they will face Inter Milan on Saturday. It will be a big test for the Bianconeri, who will be looking to continue their good form.
As for PSV, they will host FC Zurich in the Europa League on Thursday. They will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Juventus and secure a place in the knockout stages.
